Lilydale is a suburb located 35 kilometres north-east of Melbourne's CBD and is the main gateway to the wine and fruit growing region of the Yarra Valley. It has an extensive commercial centre but is also home to historic buildings. One of Lilydale's natural atractions is Lillydale Lake Park, which covers 80 hectares and features a large lake and recreation facilities.
Lilydale is an outer metropolitan area and a relocation grant may available for metropolitan GPs.
