2010 Tertiary Health Scholarships
Eastern Ranges GP Association in conjunction with Ranges Community Health Service and the Yarra Ranges Council invites residents of the Shire of Yarra Ranges to apply for one of two $3,000 Tertiary Health Scholarships and two $1,000 Encouragement Awards.
Initially the scholarships have been made possible through funds received from the closure of the Lilydale Health Service and funds raised by the Ranges Community Health Belgrave Opportunity Shop.
The program is now fortunate to have the support of a sponsored Major Award from the Eastern Ranges GP Association as well as the inclusion of a Mayoral Community Encouragement Award for 2010 sponsored by the Yarra Ranges Council.
The scholarships are open to current or intending students in Nursing, Medicine or other Health Science at an Australian Tertiary institution.

Written applications must be received on or before 4.00 p.m. on Friday 29th January 2010. (Unfortunately applications received after this date and time will not be considered).
Only those shortlisted for interview will be advised and it is anticipated that those applicants will be contacted by phone on Monday 8th February, 2010. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 11/2/2010.
