Changes to the eligibility criteria for Diabetes Prevention Programs
Patients who score 12 or more on the Australian Diabetes risk tool are now eligible for referral into a Life! Program.
High risk score for developing type 2 diabetes is now 12 on the AUSDRISK Test
A score of 12 (previously 15) on the AUSDRISK Test is now considered as high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. People 40 years+ and Aboriginal people 18 +, who score 12 or more on the AUSDRISK Test and have diabetes excluded can be referred to a Lifestyle Modification Program (LMP). ERGPA is a registered Provider of the Life! Taking Action on Diabetes Program, delivering courses at Croydon, Lilydale, Healesville and Pakenham.
