After Hours GP Clinic Co-located with the Angliss Hospital Opened Monday 4 April 2011

The Eastern Ranges After Hours Medical Service (ERAHMS) is pleased to announce that we have opened our third after hours clinic at the Angliss Hospital’s Community Rehabilitation Centre, corner of Edward St and Talaskia Rd in Upper Ferntree Gully.

The clinic is open:

Monday to Friday: 8pm – 11pm

Saturday/Sunday/Public Holidays: 1pm – 11pm.

This GP service is for URGENT after hours medical care, for people cannot wait to see a regular GP the following day, or those referred by Nurse on Call.

All patients seen at this service are referred back to their regular GP and clinical notes are forwarded to their clinic by fax at the end of each session.

Patients are seen on a walk in basis and appointments will not be made.

Cost: Pension, Health Care and DVA Card Holders will be bulk-billed. All other patients pay a Gap Fee of $30, payable at the time of service.

Practice GPs who participate in the ERAHMS cooperative arrangement, can count this service towards the Tier 2 requirements of the PIP After Hours Incentive payments.

Eastern Ranges GP Association offers generous remuneration for GPs with a minimum guarantee of $120phr and salary packaging is also available. We are still seeking GPs to join our roster and are flexible with the number of shifts that GPs want to work and will always try to accommodate your availability.
