Eastern Health - Elective Surgery Waiting List
Eastern Health is committed to improving the waiting times for patients requiring elective surgery.
Eastern Health provides elective surgery services across many sites including Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Angliss Hospital and Yarra Ranges Health. The services offered across sites include: general surgery, plastic surgery, urology & orthopaedic surgery.
To allow Eastern Health to fully utilise its elective surgery capacity, patients will be managed as patients of the Eastern Health elective surgery waiting list. Treatment will be provided at the site able to offer timely access, not necessarily at the site the patient was initially listed at for their elective surgery. Patients will be informed of this health service initiative within the correspondence they receive when added to the elective surgery waiting list.
