Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009

New registration standards apply to all registered medical practitioners from 1 July 2010. These registration standards are published in full on the Board’s website at http://www.medicalboard.gov.au.
Medical practitioners must ensure that they are familiar with the standards and that they comply with them. Failure to do so may result in further action by the Board.

The Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 supports the National Registration for Health Practitioners which came into effect 1 July 2010 for certain professions (with gradual extension to other professions).
