New PBS co-payment measure
A new PBS co-payment measure means many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients will be eligible for cheaper PBS medicines.
Practices that have registered for the PIP Indigenous Health Incentive can register their patients from late March 2010, with the measure starting 1 July 2010. Participating patients with a concession card will not pay a co-payment, and general patients will only pay the concessional co-payment.
