Commencing Friday 5th March 2010, the Angliss Hospital will be running a fortnightly Respiratory Medicine clinic. Consultants to service this clinic will be Associate Professor Frank Thien, Dr Andrew Gillman, Dr Vivek Malipatil and Dr Mark Lavercombe.
Appropriate referrals include assessment and management of asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, sleep apnoea, lung tumours and cancer, interstitial lung diseases, undiagnosed dyspnoea, cough or recurrent chest infections.
The clinic will be Medicare bulk billed with no out-of-pocket expenses to the patient.
