Flu Vaccination
Eastern Ranges GP Association (ERGPA) is a Victorian provider, which assists all business types, regardless of size or industry, by providing excellence in customer service and provision of vaccines. These are administrated by highly skilled and Accredited Nurse Immunizers. ERGPA is fully compliant with Quality Improvement Council and has a valid permit (certified by Department of Health, Victoria) to provide such a service.

In 2009-2010, a new and very different flu virus (H1N1 also known as the swine flu) spread worldwide causing the first flu pandemic in more than 40 years. So why wait, plan now and protect your staff from causing illness again along with other influenza viruses. ERGPA uses only the approved vaccines from The World Health Organisation (WHO) and adopted by Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

When to have vaccination?
Yearly flu vaccination should begin from early March or as soon as vaccine is available however, for the 2011 season, it is expected from around late February. This period then provides protection during the Australian winter months (June to August), and continue throughout the influenza season.
Where to have vaccinations?
At the workplace - we visit your organisation!
ERGPA will arrange a suitable date and time to administer flu vaccinations to those staff that have given consent to receiving flu vaccination. Nurse Immunizer will visit your site 15 minutes prior and all that is needed is a semi private small room, a table, and few chairs. There is NO extra cost for this service - it is simply very economical for your organisation.
