NPS (National Prescribing Service)
The NPS program offers one-to-one and group training with ERGPA’s Pharmacist Facilitator who provides up to date information on drug therapies. The program also provides access to small group discussions, workshops and clinical audits, providing increased access to the PIP QPI Initiatives.

The NPS program offers a variety of services to GPs and pharmacists, including one-on-one detailing visits with a Pharmacist Facilitator; Objective, up-to-date information on drug therapies, and evidence-based therapeutic guidelines.
Several CPD activities including workshops and hypotheticals on selected topics are run each year, which usually include peer group discussions involving GPs and pharmacists.
General practices get acces to three NPS Clinical Audits per PIP year, both electronic and paper based, and ongoing liaison with the NPS National Office provides feedback on local needs to ensure the provision of a relevant and responsive service.
