Primary Health Business Development Program
Eastern Ranges GP Association is pleased to offer a range of Business Management courses. Aimed at primary health care providers and their staff, to help in setting up their own business and make informed decision to give their business the best chance of success.
The Eastern Range GP Association Primary Health Business Development Program consists of 7 modules, tailored to meet the specific needs of primary healthcare professionals.
The program will run throughout 2011 and each module will encompass 5-6 hours learning over two evening sessions.
The program is aimed at providing GPs, GP staff, allied health professionals and allied health staff with the knowledge and skills required to run a successful and profitable practice which meets legal and statutory requirements.
The program is designed to run in a logical sequence, from introductory sessions on starting a practice through to the importance of understanding legal and risk management. Each module will be a stand alone topic, allowing for people to attend those that are of most value to them.

Module 4 - Monday 25 July & Monday 1 August 6.30 - 9.30pm "Hiring, Training and Retaining Staff"
Module 5 - Monday 29 August & Monday 5 September 6.30 - 9.30pm "Time Management / Customer Relations"
Module 6 - Monday 17 October & Monday 24 October 6.30 - 9.30pm "Legal and Risk Management"
Module 7 - Monday 21 Nov and Monday 28 Nov 6.30 - 9.30pm "Legal and Risk Management" (continued)
The cost of each module is $200; a 10% discount will apply to individuals or organisations who register for all 7 sessions.
