Eastern Ranges GP Association (ERGPA) offers support and advice to practices seeking to recruit GPs and practice nurses.
Vacancies for GPs and practice nurses within our region are advertised on the ERGPA website. Where appropriate, resumes of GPs and practice nurses are circulated to interested practices. ERGPA works in conjunction with Rural Workforce Agency, Victoria to fill vacancies in our rural practices.
Assistance with registration, provider number applications and vocational registration for GPs is available.
ERGPA aplies for District of Workforce Shortage status on behalf of practices to the Department of Health and Ageing to allow them to appoint overseas trained doctors.
