Rural Palliative Care Project

The Rural Palliative Care Project is a National Project run through GP Divisions that support doctors working in rural areas.

The Aims of the Project

Enhance GP knowledge, skills, educational opportunities and relationships with others involved in palliative care service in the Yarra Ranges by;

Enhancing common models of rural palliative care services, participating divisions and key stakeholders, including specialist palliative care services.
Strengthening links between palliative care and mainstream service delivery
Taking into account the broader consumer and community interests
